Lake County Minority Health CoalitionApril 2, 2009 The Lake County Minority Health Coalition (LCMHC) recently held a local event in recognition of the national Cover the Uninsured Week. The coalition's third annual 'Black History Month and Beyond' highlighted the importance of access to quality health care and access to health care coverage in addressing chronic health conditions.
Keynote speakers and vendors offered health care information and on-site enrollment. Musical tributes were provided by a local community gospel choir and visual performing arts school. Congratulations to LCMHC!
