The United Health Foundation recently released the annual America's Health: State Health Rankings. This report highlights the health status of the United States population by state and ranks each state in the country from the best to the worst health status.

This 2008 publication compares health information from 2007 and 1990 to demonstrate changes over the last nineteen years. In addition, the report contains details on community environment, health policies, outcomes and risk behaviors. Special reports are included on infant health, obesity, health disparities and personal choices for health promotion.
